I have a HP M9600T desktop computer that after shutdown it restarts! After four days of working on the problem with two HP techs; we decided on a fresh install of Vista's 64 OS; to eliminate software problems! I was dusting around the room while the computer was working on backup DVD #5 when I thought the ceiling fan above the computer attracts a little extra dust, when the light bulb went off. I disconnected the power cord and stuck the vacuum hose over the Power On/Off button on the top of the case, pushed down the button down and let it come up a couple of time and did the kekboard just incase. PROBLEM SOLVED!
