Does your voice or any sound you make appear in the noise it self? try
speaking loud near the mic (either use the built-in sound recorder in the
start menu or in the sound settings u can set the mic to pass what it gets
directly to the speakers) and check if it picks your voice, as for the
noise.. after some time some laptops start to make this annoying noise due
to it picking the noise of it's own fan after the fan starting to get
louder, so it might be that.
