The HP AIO desktops should be fine for normal home or business use.

Heat might be an issue, especially if you smoke around the computer or
have a dirty environment where the computer will reside.  Just be sure
to keep a can of compressed air and clean weekly.

I do not think that HP would release a product that has heat issues
enough to degrade performance or cause issues.

I have had plenty of laptops in my time and as long as the temperature
of the room isn't 80 or above and is clean then I have no issues.

I like the HP AIO series, perhaps the salesman should get more facts
before bashing a product by a well reputable company like HP...
