Dear all,

if you are trying to do a clean installation of Xp sps 2, you manage to even
create partions of your either Sata or Pata HDD, but just after formating it
tells you:

*"Windows Xp was unable to format because this drive may be damaged.

Please check your SCSI devices to see if they are functioning correctly or
if they have the correct drivers"*

dont panic, just replace your ram. I was running with DDR 2, 512, and just
before I thought of replacing the entire board, I re-tried the entire setup
of Windows with my small Drr 2 - 256. and now my Pc is ok!

What a mistake it would have been if I bought a Board.! { as suggested by
many forums online}

Have a good day

Kadadi

Kenya

PS:*am thinking if this was related to crash report I kept on receiving
before my pc died.!*
