This type of problem should always be diagnosed properly - don't
'think'
about replacing something unless you have done a proper diagnosis of
the problem otherwise you are just wasting your money ( :-) maybe you
could 'donate' it to me instead).
It is VERY common for memory problems (especially the kind of memory
problem which drops a single bit out of the entire stick) to show up
as
some other type of hardware problem (or even software problems) and
will quite often be proceeded by intermittant BSOD's, or even constant
driver problems.
