I recently use the Migration Utility to migrate my data from a TimeMachine Backup to my newly Imaged macbook.
I currently have Mac OSx 10.6.4 My computer had crashed, so I had the HD replaced. My school re-imaged the machine but I needed my stuff back off of my TimeMachine. It was recommended to use the Migration Utility, so I did. I Migrated back the data I needed and actually migrated it into a separate "user account" called "TimeMachine", so I dont mix everything up with my regular user account (jkleine). Then I went in and Migrated the applications to my new machine. I THOUGHT it would only migrate those apps into my "TimeMachine" user account, but it didnt. It sent the apps to all my accounts.
