Not necessarily... Remember that this is a laptop and HP seems to use
about 10 different motherboards for the 6530B (the list of motherboard
specifications can be found at:
http://search.hp.com/query.html?lang=en&cc=us&qt=reset+BIOS+password+6530B&la=en
