This sounds more like a memory issue with your DOS
environment within XP. Let me see if I am understanding the
issue here...
1) you run your DOS application from XP (do you run the
.com file or a .pif file?) and after scanning 3 pages it
prematurely terminates.
2) What do you mean by "if I work only with my application"?
Does this mean that you have an older machine which runs
only DOS for you to run your application?
