I have never used an email account to access any group to post until today. Google is unusually obstinate today. But in general I usually have a problem at least once a day with google products loading and can never rely on being able to access them when its convenient to me. This is not a new problem with google and I doubt it will ever change as with many other problems with google. I noticed someone saying google groups has no time limit. Read the TOS each post expires in 30 days after the last posting. I have never seen that happen in my yahoo group. The only advance I have ever found in google groups is the ability to use any email account to get a google account; otherwise I personally would never open a google group. No I did not reply to this via email but I had to use the posting in my digest to get to the google groups as going to the groups directly and email resulted in "oops we can not find that page" lol ok its kind of funny that google cant find itself. Just my two cents or less worth.
