well that's weird, because i've used windows xp on a 256 MB RAM device, and
every thing was running properly, yea it used a lot of virtual memory and i
usually needed to kill few stuff but you have 1 MB so it should be more than
enough, it could be either a corrupted something problem or maybe something
that is running in the background and eating up all your resources, (could
be a virus too but I'll disregard that assumption for now) you might like to
check your task manager ( alt + ctrl + delete ) and check the performance
tab and see if your memory is full or not, and also check the processes tab
and sort it by memory then check the process that's taking the most RAM and
tell us what you have, if you have problems doing either you can post back
and tell us.
