when a file is corrupted i don't think it's recoverable, unless the rar
file has a recovery record, which is not so likely, you could try to do the
repair option in winrar but it probably will fail, usually we just
re-download the file, a good way to check if the rar program is being silly
or the file is actually corrupted is by checking the md5sum of the file,
many download sites provides the md5 sum for the file downloaded, its a 32
letter hash code generated, something like this
(a0b162e26281ef097ee8b39b8690a8c2), u generate the same hash code for ur
file and if they match then the download has been successful, otherwise the
downloaded file has been corrupted while downloading or for any other
reason, you should easily find a program for that in windows
