He still has a lot to learn I find many congress critters knowledge
of the Internet to be just enough to make them dangerous.
Look at the mess the recent negations were with Internet radio and
the ridiculous renewal fees being required. Many Internet radio
stations including NPR stations will not be able to pay the fees.
Where I live Internet radio means being able to listen to something
other than Country crap.

Why? I was pleased to see Senators getting better computer coaching.
Isn't it good to have a Senator who understands that digital files can be
stored and archived in many places? Certainly better than having a
Senator tell us that the Internet is just a bunch of tubes? Knowing about
how files are stored in transit the Senator would be better able to
understand how bad it would be if the RIAA got its wish to collect a fee
every time a music file was buffered.
