On the question of how much one wants to spend, from all that I have
been reading lately in the Washington Post about HD televisions, $1,000
to $2,000 for a large screen is seen as a "bargain," at least by those
who are writing these technology reviews for that newspaper.
It would therefore seem as though for a full entertainment system,
including the audio side of things, the computer, etc., something
around $3,000 to $5,000 in expenditures should fill the bill very
nicely. What a deal!
