Maybe you aren't reading my post...i keep saying HARDWARE. Hardware. Hardware. I never said software, someone else keeps bring it up. And yeah, I've installed HD's before too...windows, linux...mac...plug it in and turn it on, works on all kinds.
So to recap, I never said software, I said hardware. Is the inside of the case 'prettier' ? Sure. Easier to move around in when adding components? Then most pc cases, sure, but not all cases. MIght want to agree to not agree since we seem to be talked about different things. Mike On 4/17/07, Snyder, Mark <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
Mike, It is obvious by your lack of specifics that you have not been inside a Mac for at least some time. It took me about 9 or 10 seconds to add a second SATA drive to my G5 the last time I was in there. Step 2 is boot the computer and respond to Disk Utility. Yeah, it saw the new drive and asked me what I wanted to do with it as soon as I logged on to the computer. When we say Apple does it right, we mean hardware and software together. It is obvious you have not seen any of it.m Apple puts them together like no one else. But you're so sure that you're right (by deduction, no less!) that you won't bother to actually check. Mark Snyder -----Original Message----- I was never talking about design. I'm talking about parts. A seagate in an apple case is not more realiable then a seagate in my pc case. That was my only point.
