A very important thing to remember, only a drive capable of WRITING can play a disc that has NOT be closed/finalized. If it is to used on a player, you must close/finalize the disc.
Fred, DVD-R will work with old and new players. DVD+r should work in any players made in the last few years, and some before that. - Brian
