Andy, if you can pry another $99 out of the old gent, I can't recommend Pro-Care enough. Among the things Pro-Care offers is one hour/week, at the customers's choosing, of one-on-one time with an expert at the Apple Store. I've been a MacAddict since the 80s and am finding this weekly hour of focus amazingly useful. Imagine how well that would work for a beginner, no matter what age. So far all the experts in Ardmore PA have been very patient and cheerful, not just with me, but with all the exchanges I've overheard. Good luck!
