Oh please do underestimate me. There are plenty of things that have not worked that I attempted.

I am not sure how this thing works, but it is a little quirky. You must have contact with the item being soldered in order for it to heat!

I read a review, done by MSNBC I think, in which an audiophile (That means anyone who spends more than I do on audio Equipment) gave it good reviews.

Whatever this one was OK I would not want to do it full time.  Labor intensive!
