For many years the Power Button function has been an option in
Windows. Most people want it to shutdown in an orderly way, so tapping
the button signals Windows to shutdown.

The force 5 sec pinch is nice to have for emergencies, but I always
run a chkdsk afterwards because I assume _some_ files will break.
