Sheep saver needs a ROM (? - is that like bios)  and you can download it from
Apple but you need TomeViewer to extract the file (TomeViewer reads apple
archives?)  Does anyone now a compatible OSX program TIA

It emulates a PowerPC computer and runs systems 7.5.2 through 9.0.4.

There is also BasiliskII . It emulates older
68K macs and can run older Macintosh systems. From it's homepage:
"Emulates either a Mac Classic (which runs MacOS 0.x thru 7.5) or a Mac
II series machine (which runs MacOS 7.x, 8.0 and 8.1), depending on the
ROM being used."
