Not much buzz from Apple's WWDC. Media hype on Wall Street had been overblown ,so stock prices fell almost $5 to about $120.
Apple's Safari will be a free browser. This is to put the iPhone (using web 2.0 and Safari) in better position with Windows users. More interesting to me are the file system changes and that Apple seems to be unifying their user interface across all applications, windows, etc. That will make it easier for someone who knows one application to learn another Apple application. Mark Snyder -----Original Message----- Boring. Not even a mention of Firefox or Opera. No mention if it would be free. MUCH more interesting is the last line: >Electronic Arts and Id announced that they would begin releasing popular games for the Macintosh simultaneously with Windows versions. ************************************************************************ * ==> QUICK LIST-COMMAND REFERENCE - Put the following commands in <== * ==> the body of an email & send 'em to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] <== * Join the list: SUBSCRIBE COMPUTERGUYS-L Your Name * Too much mail?
