I did not write anything about bickering but will answer a little bit Tom.

What happened to Mikerowesoft.com is typical from lawyers. The original letter was sent out as a boilerplate letter by CANADIAN lawyers working for MS Canada. Lawyers are usually the first to jump and over play their hand. This is not unusual. I sent a link to www.nissan.com who has had far more problems with a legitimate website and presence than this youngster who purposely set himself up to spoof microsoft.com (He basically said this.)

MS did the right thing when they found out about it, and acting civilly were quite generous to the young man and gave him more than he could have ever hoped for.

Now before anyone calls me a MS toady. I usually refer to Bi$$ Gate$ this way. He is obsessed with money and being the leader. He, Allen, and Balmore (I think I got his name right) are obsessed with being kings! But so is Jobs! They are mirror images of each other in different ways.

But this is what an entrepreneur must think like to make it in corporate America! Otherwise you will be eaten alive, bankrupt and poor. I have no stomach for that type of behavior and therefore do what I do and am very happy doing it.

I admitted I was off, I said MS offered the kid $50, when it was really
just $10. In the end they gave him a shoddy XBox and some other trinkets.
I maintain that this is far from $1,000,000. I think MikeRowSoft is not
close to MicroSoft and to sue a kid over that is ridiculous and serves no
real business purpose. You have not explained in any real way how I have
been "misleading or inaccurate." How about providing just one clear
incontrovertible fact to back up your claim?

When people post about the cool things they can do with their Macs the MS
fan boys act loud and obnoxious about "too many posts about Macs." When
people post about Microsoft the MS fan boys act loud and obnoxious about
being "misleading or inaccurate." Is this supposed to be the
MicrosoftFawning-L?
