The Security Now podcasts that Leo LaPorte does with Steve Gibson (SpinRite) has had a couple of three parters (one had parts into a fourth??). The first was on how encryption worked, starting out with simple substitutions/shifts, then symmetric block encryption and then asymetric encryption (episodes 29->31?). More recently (episodes 73-75?) there were some shows about how encryption was applied to media and ended up talking about the torturous path that high def DVD have to take and how much crap is inside of PC's to take care of that. I usually don't do anything special and they usually play in the correct order. -- Take care | This clown speaks for himself, his job doesn't Wayne D. | supply this, at least not directly On a clear disk you can seek forever ************************************************************************ * ==> QUICK LIST-COMMAND REFERENCE - Put the following commands in <== * ==> the body of an email & send 'em to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] <== * Join the list: SUBSCRIBE COMPUTERGUYS-L Your Name * Too much mail?
