Now that I have a pair of new 120gb HDDs (internal and usb2) in/next2 my desktop after a bricking and a lengthy restoration happily recovering most of what I had datawise, but losing many hours fiddling around and some problems (like my scanner won't work anymore on my desktop with the same software & drivers as before but works fine with my laptop)... I wanna know what2do to get this ready for the next disaster... I own Norton SystemWorks 2003 including Ghost... Should I use it (despite some stuff on the wilds of the net that says negative stuff about it)? If not, what? ShuddI just copy the data or is the "image" route more effective? I already asked separately about format choice for the HDD (ntfs/fat32 used with my desktop xphomesp2 and laptop xpprosp2)?? I set up the external usb2 drive optimized for quick removal so I don't hafta click remove safely ...disables cache ...is that OK ?? Can I just leave that drive plugged in2 the desktop all the time or shuddI undo it when not using it? tia!!
