I used to like all of the Mozilla family of programs until Firefox 2.x
was released last year without click-and-hold contextual menus. The easy
contextual menus were still there for Thunderbird and SeaMonkey until
today when I updated Thunderbird to version 2.x.
HORRORS! I had to use a two-button mouse or control-click to get menus
that appeared easily by clicking and holding on a link/tab/item only 2
hours ago. So, with fingers figuratively crossed, I checked the prefs.
Preferences: Advanced tab -- config editor -- ui.click_hold_context_menus
I changed "ui.click_hold_context_menus" value to "true" and I have my
easy contextual menus back again.
I switched to Firefox, and typed "about:config" [no quotes] in the
location bar. Again, I changed "ui.click_hold_context_menus" value to
"true" and Firefox is easier now too!
