I believe modern wireless routers all have the ability to have different
levels of security between wireless and wired.  That is where I would
start.  Unfortunately there is no standard menu or set of features.  It
could be under Wireless or under Security, or even under DHCP (I saw one
that allowed you to give different addresses to wired and wireless and had a
check box for some security wall between them).

Also, if your router knows about your domain, that could be part of it.
