You don't need a special site to do the IP lookup.
From a Mac just open a terminal session and type:
dig <website name>
and it will spit out the known IP addresses (there will likely be
several) for the web page.
From a PC open a command prompt (DOS box) and type:
nslookup <website name>
to get similar results.
Note that while you can use nslookup on your Mac, or on any flavor of
UNIX or LINUX, nslookup has been depreciated for a few years now.
Google also return a number of web based DNS services, but I have
never used any.

Been having problems with our DSL [intermittent connection],
including DNS issues [some sites only load with IP address, not
URL]. Maybe Verizon will resolve both soon.
