I've had the same problem all week on my Mac and PCs, in all
browsers--and I'm in Elkton, MD, not Belo Horizonte. I called Verizon
[our DSL], and asked them to research it. They'll be sending a tech on
Tuesday.
Meanwhile, I'm guessing that it's a DNS issue. When I find the IP
address for the web site [I usually use netcraft.com] and use that, I
can access the site/link.
Do you have IE7? Have you tried Firefox? The Mozilla browsers are a bit
more forgiving about URLs. Might help. You could also use a different
DNS. When I had the problem last year, I switched from Qwest DNS to
Genuity, and that helped. Genuity is 4.2.2.1 and 4.2.2.6, I think. I
don't know what you'd use where you are, though.
