AFAIK, you don't have to worry about how well the LCD handles fast moving
video with CAD.

Screen real estate - the right combination of resolution and screen size is
probably the most important for you.

If you will have others standing behind you looking at a particular set of
designs, you will want to investigate how much of an angle is supported (150
degrees, 170 degrees, etc.) for useful viewing.  I know I have one at home
that seems more like 90 degrees.

Plus, I imagine that how well it handles shades of black, white, gray would
be important.  Reviews I have seen have found that this varies widely, no
matter what the specs say.
