The military is a heavy buyer of them on the corporate end.
I have two of them.
My brothers company uses them.
There are about 4 of them in my congregation (And no I did not help
them buy them, they all bought on individual preferences)
I see a lot of them in the airport when I travel, they are all around.
I have an Inspiron 1150 and a Latitude D610.
The latitude line is more the small business corporate user and I
like it a lot.
The Inspiron is for home users and it is good. (Latitude includes a
full compliment of ports, Insprion was short a few.)
Now on desktops, I have seen a ton of them in banks where they use
small footprint workstations.

Other than at trade shows I don't think I have ever seen a Dell laptop.
