Personally I have a number of browsers on my Mac, but my favorite is OmniWeb. I highly recommend it to all Mac users (sorry there is no Windows version). It is a powerful and easy to use browser. Check it out at:

I had Safari 2.0.4 installed on my iMac G5.
I installed Safari 3 Beta over it. I liked it, but had some problems. I trashed it and went back to Safari 2.0 from my original install disks. Apple Software Update did not update Safari 2.0 to 2.0.4. On Apple's web site, only 2.0.1 and 3 Beta are available.

Apple Will Not Provide Safari 2.0.2, or 2.0.3, or 2.0.4.

Autofill did not work in Safari 2.0. I tried everything that I could think of, it would not work. I called Apple Tech Support and spent one and one half to two hours with them, while they had me jump through one hoop after another, and nothing worked. I asked why update didn't work and why 2.0.4 was not available; they didn't know. Finally, they said that my framework for Safari is damaged, and I must archive and install the OS all over again, then reinstall Safari 2.0, and everything will be fine.

I did not want to do this. I searched the web and found someone who had 2.0.4 available for download. I downloaded it, installed it, and Autofill worked the first time that I tried it.

Why?
