Interesting...
The person who uses Windows almost exclusively is bashing others who use
multiple operating systems. Such irony. When Windows does something
badly and we point it out, that's not bashing, that's fact based on
experience. Same with revealing flaws in Macs and Unix. Surprise!
They're not perfect either. Confused?
Does Tony use Final Cut, Symphony, Xpress, Premiere, for video, along
with Windows Media? Each has its good and bad points [except wm, which
is proprietary and generally awful]. The OS doesn't matter when the
software is top notch, but when selecting software that's dual platform,
it's usually easier, more transparent and seamless, to use the Mac
version, especially after trying both for comparison. Only exception I
can think of is Excel for Windows, and some 3D and animation in Windows
and Unix.
It's hard to find all of the thread changes in an Internet cafe on a
timed PC connection. Still, no pro videographer would use WM for
business. Laziness is not bothering to learn about software before
"teaching" the list what's "best" without testing cross-platform
versions first.
Travel is my therapy. I feel wonderful.
