Jack,
I get COMPUTERGUYS-L in digest mode, and it comes to me
with short email headers (see my version of your message below).
It comes to me as a flat unformatted mail document.  My settings
are DIGEST NOMIME, so if you are getting it in MIME format, that
may be the reason.

Which mail app are you using?  It may be configured to not display
email headers in the body of the email.

In digest mode, it is impossible to see who is sending which message unless they sign it. There are no email headers. Occasionally there is quoted reply-to material, but that refers to a previous message. Worse, the silly
"QUICK LIST-COMMAND REFERENCE" appears between every message.

Can the list serv software insert the message headers so I can see who is writing what, and can it filter the command reference to once per digest?
