Works OK on my slow DSL--still waiting for broadband competition.

There are a few excellent 3D modeling programs. I used to use Ray Dream and Bryce [just 'played' with it this week]. Artists now use Maya for video games. I have a few others buy Maya is one of the best. Download and play with it. Basic version is free. http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/index?siteID=123112&id=7635018

If your budget allows, Pixar's Renderman is spectacular, but it's not in MY budget.

This is all a plot to get me to a mode costly DSL plan!

A bunch of programs. The action and animation are Flash. The 3D modeling could be Maya, but there are lots of alternatives. The characters could be Poser. I have not looked at Posed in several years, maybe Poser could do it all.
