Works OK on my slow DSL--still waiting for broadband competition.
There are a few excellent 3D modeling programs. I used to use Ray Dream
and Bryce [just 'played' with it this week]. Artists now use Maya for
video games. I have a few others buy Maya is one of the best. Download
and play with it. Basic version is free.

If your budget allows, Pixar's Renderman is spectacular, but it's not in
MY budget.

This is all a plot to get me to a mode costly DSL plan!
A bunch of programs. The action and animation are Flash. The 3D modeling
could be Maya, but there are lots of alternatives. The characters could
be Poser. I have not looked at Posed in several years, maybe Poser could
do it all.
