It all depends on the company.

I am a Kiwanian and I get the Kiwanis magazine. This month there was an advertisement for a company in their magazine. A club magazine like this will vet ads and only allow reputable vendors to advertise.

Find someone who has used or can recommend the comany or check them out yourself.

(Forget BBB they will greenlight anyone who pays their fees.)

Howabout this:

I have a multimedia 17" notebook that won't power up (Acer, 8 blinks,
good luck). I need to send it to a repair shop. Has anyone had any
experience with these mail order laptop repair places?
