I had it explained to me differently. Apple will not let ATT discount the phone nor the plan. The ATT people made a pitch for upgrading my Palm at a nice discount and cheaper service if I changed to them and hooked up through work, but told me if I wanted iPhone I'd have to pay full price.

Thus I'm still with Sprint, still using my old Kyocera smartphone.

I know of one individual who wanted to get an Iphone on his ATT business plan but they would not sell it to him.

Apparently they did not want to support the Iphone with business customers. Strange
