I do/did own a number of dot orgs, including slawecki.org,ppiusa.org, photoframes.org, thegerald.org and a bunch more. did them on godaddy as it was easy and i had an account. i think most of them have expired, as i did not use them. you can also register to foreign countries, if you really want a special site and it is not available in the net,org,com,
