Great analysis Paul. I did not know we had that sort of talent on the List. The point of my original post was to plumb the authenticity of some list member's conservatism by challenging their fealty to MS. If Clinton or Obama had made a social engineering proposal similar to Gates' there would have been much outrage. Apparently money raised by legal taxation is somehow tainted, while money extorted from the public by felons is pure.
