Lsass.exe, not isass.exe!
lsass.exe is a system process of the Microsoft Windows security mechanisms. It
specifically deals with local security and login policies. This program is
important for the stable and secure running of your computer and should not be
terminated.

Subject: [CGUYS] is isass.exe a virus?
i have a process named isass.exe at 1252kb running. is it a virus. google replies seem
to think maybe. avg does not see it. when i download the "download this
program" soultions to remove isass, they go through my registry and state 500 bad
entries and want to delete all 500 entries. i am not comfortable with wacking 500
registry entries using some freeware.
is this a virus, and if so, how do i remove it?
