You can apply to get two $40 coupons for converter boxes at <https://www.dtv2009.gov/>. It takes a while to process. There is a long list of approved boxes on the site.
One of the things to look for is a box that will pass through the RF signal when the box is off. This will allow you to use the current tuner for non digital signals.
