The Full Story (my apologies for not coming-clean, initially): The
computer is a two year old MacBook Pro, and I am new to Apple
products. My friend configured it to dual boot into Windows XP and
Leopard, using Boot Camp, and now I am locked out of the XP boot.
Does this change the recommendation to use a password reset utility?

My reason for buying it was that it was going to be my first laptop.
I figured, as a side benefit, I would get to put my toe into the Mac
waters...
