After letting Compaq Technical Support work on my computer remotely for 4 hours trying to resolve an Outlook Express problem (which was never resolved), any links in an email no longer work in any email program. When I click on a link in Thunderbird, the cursor recognizes that it is a link but nothing happens. The only way I can use the link is to copy and paste it into a new Firefox browser. If by some miracle, someone out there has an easy fix for this problem, that would be great. As a plan-B alternative, if I have to uninstall/reinstall Thunderbird, will my profile regenerate or do I have to back it up and import it manually? I've never done this so any advice would be welcome. FYI, Firefox seems to be working normally.

Windows XP SP2
Firefox 2.0
Thunderbird 2.0

Thanks in advance,

Richard P.
