Safari is a very well done browser, based on the open source WebKit.

Safari is shaking up mobile communications (and the future of the 
Internet is in mobile access, not desktops).

Supporting Safari, Firefox, and Opera is one of the best ways we have of 
getting and keeping the Internet free, open, and moving forward. (Another 
is not using Comcast.)

Fealty to the Microsoft masters is not a universal value.
