Garmin makes a bean-bag like mount that sits on the dashboard. I bought one at Best Buy for about $30. It can sit peacefully on my dash without any drama in spite of the way I drive my 300M.
I also consider the GPS to be a small computer, just like my iPod, and never leave either in my car during times of extreme temperatures. Besides, they are both theft magnets. YMMV -- We have to abandon the idea that schooling is something restricted to youth. How can it be, in a world where half the things a man knows at 20 are no longer true at 40 -- and half the things he knows at 40 hadn't been discovered when he was 20? - Sir Arthur C. Clarke (1917 -2008) ************************************************************************* ** List info, subscription management, list rules, archives, privacy ** ** policy, calmness, a member map, and more at http://www.cguys.org/ ** *************************************************************************
