Garmin makes a bean-bag like mount that sits on the dashboard. I bought one at
Best Buy for about $30. It can sit peacefully on my dash without any drama in
spite of the way I drive my 300M.

I also consider the GPS to be a small computer, just like my iPod, and never
leave either in my car during times of extreme temperatures. Besides, they are
both theft magnets.

YMMV

We have to abandon the idea that schooling is something restricted to youth.
How can it be, in a world where half the things a man knows at 20 are no longer
true at 40 -- and half the things he knows at 40 hadn't been discovered when he
was 20?
