Yes, I tried that. Well, you _have_ to do this registry change to get Vista to use the SATA drivers at all. Oddly, on first boot it seemed to get all the way up, then it seemed to very nicely shut down. After that, nothing but 7B blue screens complaining about 'crcdisk.sys'.
