I wonder about the fan thing.  I've noticed some user reviews indicating
that some of these drives get REAL hot in heavy use. One reviewer somewhere
(Amazon?) said that it was the first drive he'd ever had that could also be
used for cooking breakfast. Worse, the drive would fail when it got real
hot.  I think it was a Seagate.
