Would one of those regular sized rollup USB keyboards work with an Eeepc?

Here's a link to the specs of the Eeepc:

http://event.asus.com/eeepc/microsites/en/index.htm

I got an Eeepc so I could carry it around in my knapsack, write on it
when I'm on the subway or bus, and then download what I'd written when I
got home. Data transfer is simple: I use a flash drive. This is a vast
improvement over the devices I'd used before for mobile writing (which,
to download text to my main machine, required cables, IR units,
proprietary software that had lots of kinks in it, etc.) Battery life
isn't great--and it takes a long time to recharge--but the Eeepc will
handle my commute just fine. Supposedly, another, larger-capacity
battery may be available soon. Or may be already. I'd like to buy one,
when it's available.

The Eeepc weighs about 2 pounds and is very compact. The case looks
sturdy; the hinge (when you open the computer) also looks sturdy. Text
is very readable on the small screen; you can see at least a paragraph,
which means you can edit as well as write on the Eeepc. The computer is
solid state, so you don't have to worry about using it on a Metro bus on
a typical local road that has needed resurfacing since about 1999. The
computer gets a bit warm when in use, so if you're using it on your lap,
you won't want to rest it on bare skin. (You probably wouldn't anyway,
but I thought I'd just mention it, because the Asus website shows a
woman using her Eeepc while apparently taking a break from playing beach
volleyball or being photographed for the Sports Illustrated swimsuit
issue.)

That having been said, I'm having trouble getting used to the small
keyboard. Normally, when I'm trying to write, I don't even think about
what my fingers are doing--I just write. The keys of the Eeepc keyboard
are just small enough that I DO have to think about where I put my
fingers, and how hard I touch the keys. So my text, instead of looking
like this, tnds too looklike THS, withalot of mistakeshtat I wdn't
otherwise mk. (But I'm still trying!)

I got a reasonably good deal on my Eeepc at Microcenter--comparable to
what you get in the inexpensive mail-order places.

Supposedly, the Eeepc is the first of a whole herd of microcomputers
from various manufacturers. I'd like to hear from other ComputerGuys
list members when they hear about, and use, these new machines.

I like it, it does have a small screen and keyboard.
The Xandros based interface is a little rinky-dink
so I want to try Ubuntu (the common practice
is run that OS off a thumb drive or SD card).
I also have yet to see how it fares as as pseudo-
desktop by connecting to external monitor, keyboard,
hard drive etc. As a portable device is pretty satisfying.
(Unfortunately I bought the cheap 1.4 hour batteries).

Do we get a review?
