Depends on whether you're smiling as you type it. We *have* to encourage people in our forums to use smileys liberally. Being community forums, many of them are new to computers and don't understand that the sarcasm they've used their whole life just won't work the same way online because nobody can see that you're smiling as you say it.
Even the friendliest comment has been grossly misinterpreted for lack of smileys.
