>.PST files are Outlook, not Outlook Express. Express files are *.DBX. Going from one flavor of Outlook to another can be a real mess. MS offers little compatability and little help. Different versions of Outlook do different things. Sometimes the best solution is to take emails through a non-MS email client to get to a format that you can import.
