I bought my computer in February 2004, which makes it roughly 4.5 years old.

I currently run 2 OSes on it, Windows SP2 and Ubuntu 8.04.

Since buying the computer, I have never had an OS upgrade for which I needed
to pay anything.

Compared to the computer I use at work (I am a J2EE developer) it is slower,
but still does what I need. The slowest thing I have run on it is SQL
Server 2005 which I needed for some side work, but it still ran fast enough
to server the need.

This computer runs Safari 3.1.1 with no problem.

Middle-aged, maybe?
