Linux + a good browser (Chrome?) will get you access to a world of software and greatly reduce maintenance. Accessing SaaS software in the cloud shifts most maintenance tasks to the provider. You will not need a very fancy PC to run it. Files are stored in the cloud so little or nothing has to be preserved in the computer. If the PC fails just reformat the drive and reinstall the basic set of apps. You can train almost anyone to run that. Backups are not an issue, they are handled by the SaaS provider. If you are doing anything else for your low-budget non-profit you are wasting their money big time. ************************************************************************* ** List info, subscription management, list rules, archives, privacy ** ** policy, calmness, a member map, and more at http://www.cguys.org/ ** *************************************************************************
